It was a perfect day and setting for Carrie and Jared’s big wedding day.  And I felt pretty lucky to spend the day with these two wonderful people and their families and friends.  I hope that this blog gives you a taste of the joy, happiness, fun, love, zaniness, beauty, and wonderfulness that I witnessed as the wedding photographer.  Cause it was just a pretty amazing day.  From the hotel to the Cherry Blossoms at the University of Washington to Gasworks Park in Seattle to the Skasonia Ferry where these two lovebirds tied the knot and celebrated until late in the evening…….everything was just PERFECT.

 A BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO CARRIE & JARED!  MAY YOU HAVE A LIFETIME FILLED WITH LOVE AND HAPPINESS!

If you looked up awesome in the dictionary, you would easily see a picture of this wedding at the Grand Piazza on Taylor Street in Chicago.  It was simply amazing.  As you will see from the images, it was quite a view of the Chicago skyline.  We had a little scare from Mother Nature a couple of hours before the wedding…….she threw quite a thunderstorm at us about 2 hours before GO time.  But, the storm cleared up and Ryan and Lindsay were able to get married on the rooftop of the Italian Sports Hall of Fame.  Plus, we got to visit the United Center and see Ryan do his best Air Jordan impression.

My uncle (Bruce Pudwell) and I got to shoot with some great people on Saturday.  All I can say is that I truly love my job as a photographer.  It’s not often that you get to share in a couple’s joy and celebration, and have so much fun doing it.  Thank you Ryan, Lindsay, their family and friends.  Truly a day that will go down as one of the best.  Cheers!
